My Project
This school year, we have started a new curriculum where we are deep diving into many different topics. Wheels, and Balls, are 2 of a 10 week unit study showing and teaching the students how basic machines work. I am requesting Gears Building Sets, Scooter Boards, Wacky Wheels STEM Challenge, and more for the ability to understand, through hands on materials and higher order thinking skills.
These materials will help give my students hands on opportunities to see these all in action, and be creative while using them.
Being in 3K has a lot of language obstacles, but working with toys, games and crafts that are age appropriate, and fun to use, helps them have a much better understanding of these complex concepts.
