My Students
My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources above basic school supplies. One of the biggest challenges my families face is the ability to provide extra resources and opportunities for their children.
We need to get each student the support needed to be successful in the classroom.
A large percentage of our students live in multi-family member homes and needs supports provided in the classroom.
My Project
The wagons are used in classrooms within our building. These wheeled devices help our students evacuate the building if there is an emergency, get on and off the bus safely when they cannot get to the bus, and transition from place to place for physical assistance.
This wagon will help many students at the preschool level have a way to access the school environment with the accommodations needed to transport around the building.
The wagon will be used for students within the same classroom. The wagon is able to help two students at one time.
