My Project

I am the PBIS (Positive Behavior and Intervention Supports) building coordinator for Chenal Elementary School. This program has been implemented at my school and is something very close to my heart because it gives students opportunities to earn rewards by making good choices and being upstanding students and citizens.

Our school is about recognizing positive student achievements and these bikes will help us do just that!

Students who earn 90% of the total available points are given the opportunity to win a bike based on positive choices, as well as recognizing model student behaviors. PBIS has reduced our school-wide office referrals by 5% and has been an overall success. With the help of Donors Choose, we hope to continue recognizing students for years to come.
