This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Middle school is a time of big changes—physically, emotionally, and socially. Many of my students come to school carrying stress in their bodies from academic pressure, social challenges, and life outside the classroom. To help them feel better in both body and mind, I’m introducing restorative yoga into our classroom—and we need your help to complete it.

Myofascial therapy balls are small but powerful tools that help students release tension in tight muscles, improve circulation, and develop a better sense of body awareness.

By gently rolling on these therapy balls, students learn how to relieve stress, manage discomfort from growth spurts, and calm their nervous systems.

Your donation will help create a peaceful, healing space where students can stretch, breathe, and reconnect with themselves. These tools aren’t just for physical relief—they’re a gateway to mindfulness, self-care, and emotional resilience.
