Our school is located on the beautiful island of Hawaii. With a student population of well over 800 students in grades K-5, my students come from diverse backgrounds. They come to school with smiles on their faces and the willingness to try whatever may come their way.
They are fun loving, enthusiastic and caring.
They are unique in so many ways.
Their thirst for knowledge is contagious and the pureness in their hearts are sincere. The lessons I learn from my Kindergartners are priceless and immeasurable.
My Project
Providing my Kindergartners with the tools to learn about sequencing, loops, and conditionals will help them gain a better understanding of coding. Students will use Botley The Coding Robot to maneuver through simple obstacle courses and slowly progress to more complex ones.
In today’s digital world, coding is an important fundamental skill.
Students will use problem-solving strategies to figure out the course, use their writing skills to create their plan, and lastly, apply math skills in a real-world situation.
Botley The Coding Robot & Action Challenge Accessory Pack will engage my students in a hands-on learning activity which is fun and engaging!
