I am creating a classroom which promotes an atmosphere where students feel like they are at home. Flexible seating is good for everyone. Students will be able to move these chair cubes to create spaces that encourages collaboration. Having them get together with their friends and share ideas also promotes creativity and a sense of belonging. Providing students with alternative seating options will allow them to freely choose a space that works for them. Creating a student-centered classroom is my main goal! Seeing students who are excited about learning, able to make good choices, and just happy to be in school, is so rewarding!
