My students are second-grade students in an urban district in southwest lower Michigan. My kiddos are energetic, enthusiastic learners. These second graders are eager to read, write, and build their brains. In second grade, we work hard every day to learn about the world around us.
For my second grade kiddos, school is a place where they can learn and be safe.
They love having fun... and that's where you come in! Donating to my classroom adds those "extras" that help make learning fun and engaging every single day.
We are so fortunate to live in a community where all students are supported in their college dreams, starting from the moment they enter school. Continuing to engage my students, with your help, ensures a relationship with growing and learning that will see them through as they work toward their educational goals.
My Project
My smart second graders are inquisitive and curious. They want to know... what's the news?
Help us stay up to day with current events, read about our role models, and have discussions that can broaden our horizons and help us learn about others.
We need Scholastic News so we can do all of these things.
This resource in both print and digital versions will allow my smart students to become even more knowledgeable about the world around them. Reading about engaging topics to help us learn the answer to the question... What's the News?
