This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I currently have an amazing group of second grade students. Their eagerness to explore new ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and actively engage in our lessons makes each day exciting. The "Who's First" buzzer system would encourage my English Language Learners to actively participate in healthy competition.

I have a group of extremely competitive and eager students who thoroughly enjoy friendly competitions as a way to review various topics of our curriculum.

Over time, I have experimented with different methods such as ringing bells or holding up whiteboards to determine who answered questions first. However, that can be challenging at times.

A buzzer game system would not only add an element of fun and thrill to our learning activities, but also streamline the process of determining the first respondent, making our competitions run much smoother. The best part about this system is that it will encourage discussion amongst my students.
