What’s That Growing in Our Classroom?!

Help me give my students an opportunity to explore learning about life science while gaining knowledge via a STEM curriculum. The Lakeshore Hands-on centers activity will be a wonderful tool to be used as an introduction to STEM.

My Project

Curiosity and the willingness to learn are the things I love most about my First graders. Life science is a favorite subject in our class. The more hands-on the better. Each item selected will feed their curiosity and provide a unique experience. I would like to provide an endless supply of resources for my students, and these resources will be a great start.

STEM in our school has been reserved for our upper grades.

I would like to introduce grade appropriate STEM activities for students in lower grades and explore different approaches to learning.

Our school has a nature trail designed for students to explore. My goal is to move our classroom beyond the school. My students have already shown a desire for learning and exploring life science within our classroom. I hope to expand on their interests.
