Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

All students should have equal access to a high quality education and resources, right? Well sadly, the students that I serve- mostly Latinos and African Americans of lower socio-economic status in the Trenton area- do not have the same resources that many other students have, but you can help! How? I am seeking donors to help fund some math manipulative for small group and other materials that will help with organizing the classroom. These supplies will help create a comfortable environment conducive for cooperative learning!

My Project

So we have all heard of “FREE” public education, right? Why is it that families that typically earn the least are asked to supply their children with supplies that the SCHOOLS should be providing? Many of the families that we serve struggle to make ends meet...providing school supplies should be an added stressor!

Where is the EQUITY in education?

Please help supply my classroom with BASIC NECESSITIES so that parents are not strained financially during the start of the school year! By donating, you will help to provide supplies like pencils, a pencil sharpener, dry-erase markers that students will use during small and individualized instruction, a blue-tooth speaker so students can hear videos that are curriculum based, Time Magazines to enhance our Science and Social Studies curriculum, Lysol wipes and tissue to keep students healthy! Every bit helps! Your kindness will positively effect the lives of many! Thank you in advance for your support!
