Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Students are often curious where the food they eat come from. I have shown videos, utilize words to describe the nurturing care, growth, transportation, and distribution of our agriculture. However, the best lesson will be the active involvement of gardening, identify transportation, and local distributors. Therefore, your financial assistance to our classroom "Earth/Garden - Environment" will give my Students on-hands results to the process of farming - food.

The Students will plant, nurture, track the growth, and partake of the veggies they have grown.

This inclusion will get them totally involved, hands in rich manure soil, water, observation, tracking growth, water, sun, and in a classroom-greenhouse "Farm". Therefore, each student will be given several interior, exterior, and vegetable plants to track their growth as farmers do their crops.

This opportunity will give my students an appreciation for the food thats on their breakfast, lunch, and dinner plate. It will also give the Students an opportunity to comprehend, and appreciate what our Earth gives us to live a healthy life.
