Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students need to increase their vocabulary, you can help by providing them the opportunity to read an abundance of books.

My students are second language learners from mostly low income families, their vocabulary is limited to what they learn in school.

The only books they have access to are from our local or school library. They are enthusiastic bunch and are interested in learning especially new vocabulary.

My Project

The electronic readers will open up a new world of literature. They are always looking for the words we are learning in what they read. New titles in this novel form will increase their enthusiasm for learning new vocabulary. It will also provide some extra resources for other areas of study.
