This project will provide six simple digital scopes that can be used in our science classes. Each scope has a USB cord that will hook directly into our Chromebooks or a lightning cord to a phone. The scope will project the image on the computer or the phone. In this particular project, we will place petri dishes or slides around the school and collect particulate matter from the air. After a few days, we will retrieve the slides and then assess the data on what we find. We will compare and contrast what particulates we find in different areas of the school. We hope to get qualitative and quantitative data about the fine particulate matter in the air around our school. Some students will want to extend the learning and also take some slides to be placed around their homes. Thank you for "looking" at our project about "looking" to see what's in our air!
