What's in a Prototype?

Help me give my students pizza boxes, containers, glue, and markers for the ability to design and build their own prototypes.

My Project

The materials that have been chosen will be used by students to design and use engineering to create a robot prototype.

Students will use the empty boxes, glue dots, and sharpies to make their robot that will be their prototype for designing a robot to solve an everyday problem.

Students need opportunities to design and build through hands on projects. They also need to understand that there is a process to engineering new products that are developed. Our life skill for the month is grit, so this project will also help students to work through a project and to be successful.
