Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach Third Grade at an elementary school. We don't have many curriculum materials for science and social studies. I would love a Scholastic News Magazine subscription for my classroom. The Magazines will help students practice reading informational text and build interpersonal communication skills.
Scholastic News Magazine weekly reader made for third grade, is developmentally appropriate for my students; it ignites the early learners' curiosity and supports readers with engaging science and social studies texts and colorful illustrations.
Students can take magazines home and share what they have learned and practice English vocabulary.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
