My Project

My students are curious little learners. My students are energetic and love to be active. They absorb new materials like a sponge. They love to share their knowledge and experiences with others. My students attend a public school in a rural area in Minnesota.

There are many eager first and second graders who will be inspired with these valuable resources.

They need to have access to great current event resources. Understanding the events occurring around our world is hard enough for adults, and it is even harder for young children. This is also a big election year. The Scholastic News does wonderful job of explaining elections in a non-biased way.

Our children need more access to non-fiction literature, and the Scholastic News is a great non-fiction resource that the children love. Scholastic News is a wonderful resource that is written in words easy to read and understand for our young learners. It also has amazing pictures that children love. The pictures engage them into reading even more.

The children love the online activities that the subscription also allows us to access with our technology. These subscriptions will make a huge impact in my students’ learning about our world.

The TpT gift card will help purchase other important Social Studies resources that other teachers have created to enhance the student's learning about the world around us.
