My Project

These supplies will help to replace our current greenhouse, which was damaged during the winter due to wind. This new greenhouse will be bigger and will be sturdier than the one before. This will also enable us to grow more crops, which can be used in school lunches as it has been before. Students really enjoy providing lunch sides for the school to taste. It also is cross-curricular in nature and builds on previous skills learned.

The seeds and cart for plants will help students to grow larger quantities of food for students at the school to choose from; our previous lunch sides have been eaten so fast, there has been a higher demand for more!

We also want to seek to help the community as well and maybe be able to raise money for the school as a fundraiser. Fresh options at school and being local make this activity appealing and engaging for students. It is also a project students see through from beginning to end.
