Help me give my students snack options to help them concentrate so they are not hungry or counting down the minutes until lunch.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Jones's classroom raised $197
This project is fully funded
My Project
Many of our students come from low-income homes where most of them look forward to breakfast and lunch being served at school. With breakfast being served first thing in the mornings and depending on the time each grade level attends lunch, there could be a 3-4 window between the two servings.
A donation of snacks such as Goldfish, baked chips, and graham cookies would be just enough to keep students' minds focused on learning and not a "hungry belly" and from potentially being cranky.
When students aren't hungry, their ability to conceptualize and reasoning skills improve and they have better attention spans.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
