My Students

A typical day in my classroom is different than in other classes. We train children how to compete in the work force.

My students are form a rural community and love technology.

My students do not have the most up to date technology. That is why it is so important to introduce them to equipment that will help them express their ideas in a professional and interesting way.

My Project

I teach FACS, Family and Consumer Science. It is, most affectionately, remembered as Home Economics by those of us who are young at heart. This year the curriculum has changed, and I will be teaching my 7th graders interior design. This tablet will allow my students to create designs to share and present.

This donation to my classroom will not just improve the learning experience, but promote it.

I do not have the necessary equipment to demonstrate or allow the students to present their ideas.
