My Students
What is a Kindergarten classroom without art?! Art is usually the first thing to go in a school facing large budget cuts. Please help my students get an art enriched classroom as part of their first year of school!
Twenty five little four and five year olds will arrive next September into their classroom full of anxiety and excitement to all that awaits them in their first full year of school.
They will be curious and eager to learn and create hands on art projects that will enlighten their classroom, their homes and their hearts.
My Project
These art supplies may seem basic to some but are essential to our classroom because our financially challenged urban community often lacks the resources necessary for art enriched experiences. With paint, paper, paint brushes and collage materials my Kindergartners would begin their journey as artists in our classroom. Weaving art into our daily curriculum will enhance my students education from the start. Art inspires learners to connect with the content they are learning and stimulates their motivation and expression.
With your help my kindergartners will experience the love and joy of creating art and crafting projects that will stay with them forever.
