My Students

I love the diversity of my students and their individual learning styles. My students range from Kindergarten through 4th grade. Each student brings to the classroom their own unique abilities that we call "our wonderful gifts."

My classroom consists of students with learning styles that are not typical, but beautiful.

My class incorporates all learning styles including children who are non-verbal or may have some type of learning disability. We love to learn with our eyes, ears, hands, and voice.

My Project

I chose kindle fire tablets to help students see, hear, and touch. This will help the student tap into all different learning styles. I also chose learning tasks that will help them work independently or with their peers during "center" time to help reinforce their learning. Students will use phonics cards to help with their fluency for reading comprehension. All my students enjoy visuals that help them learn. The math flash cards, sight words, and phonics cards will help my students learn sight words, spelling, math facts, identifying the alphabet, and letter sounds. With the purchase of tablets, phonics cards, math cards, and reading tasks these items will help contribute to learning in the classroom. Students who have different learning styles, either visually, hands-on, or auditory, will benefit from these items specifically in the areas of reading.

Tablets and task cards can help the students by allowing them to see, hear, and touch the actual material assigned by the teacher.

This helps reinforce their learning.

Many of the tablets allow the teacher and the student to have access to reading, writing, and math apps which in turn helps everyone be successful.
