This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
A wonderful educational video is of very little use if the students can't hear anything.
My students are wonderful, creative, and eager learners.
They love to discover new things and are especially interested in science. I try to expose them to as many new ideas and places as possible and sometimes I do this through short video clips we can then discuss and break apart.
My Project
Our current classroom speakers are so crackly, we can hardly hear any of the audio. We need new speakers so we can travel to far away lands, look closely at microscopic beings, and see the whole picture of world-wide issues. Videos are a wonderful way to do this.
This project is important because my students should be able to experience everything I can show them, without something like audio equipment holding them back.
