My Students

I am a second-grade teacher in an elementary school that has close to 88% of our families on free and reduced breakfast/lunch. Our school is also very unique and diverse in that we have 17 different languages that are spoken. My classroom is made up of 24 second graders that come from different economic backgrounds and challenges.

My students deserve the best and as a teacher, I want to make sure that they know that every day.

They are very energetic and love to have fun. I would love for my students to have durable and sturdy bins to keep in their cubbies to help them stay organized the rest of the school year.

My Project

These bins will help my students keep items such as books, school supplies, center activities, and classroom work organized in their own bin. Each of my students have a cubby to hang their backpack and coat in. At the bottom of each cubby is a lot of empty space that I am hoping to utilize by keeping student items organized in these colorful and sturdy bins.

We have been working really hard on staying organized and keeping student items in one place so they don't get lost.

These bins will make a HUGE difference in my classroom. I am excited to give one to each of my kids with your help in funding this project.
