Help me give my students blank hard cover books with Sharpie pens, so they can write their own story and share them with other children as a community service project.
This year my class is doing a year long "Sustainability" project. We have had several expert guest speakers come in to teach us about Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling. We even met a business owner who had started her own "No Waste" business. In addition, we will take many field study trips to learn all that we can about saving our precious Earth and living clean. In these field studies we provide "service" to our fellow humans, animals, and our loving Earth.
We are hoping to use the hard covered blank books to write our own story to help spread the word of why it is so important to take care of our Earth.
We will be sharing our stories as a community service by spreading the word of how we must take care of our wild-life, our planet, and reduce our carbon imprint. We hope to convince everyone that reads our book by sharing all that we've learned throughout the year!
