What does THAT mean? Master Dictionaries Needed Badly
My students need 2 comprehensive dictionaries for their classroom.

I am a special education teacher with an inclusive classroom. In my classroom we have college bound students and struggling students operating far below expected levels. I insist on creating a fair and accepting environment for all of my students.
We have dictionaries in our classroom that are sufficient for spelling tests and certain writing assignments but for our literacy classes we have continually run into problems looking up more exotic and unusual words central to our lessons.
One of my peers has this very dictionary in one of her classrooms and it has inspired me as well. Two copies, one a teacher's copy and the other for "anytime student access" at the literacy center in our classroom, will alleviate all of our issues with rare and exotic words that my students, many of whom are lyricists, key in on in our literature, and these dictionaries will provide them access to learning that is desperately needed in our classroom.
While these tomes are indeed a bibliophile's fevered dream they are also powerful tools in my attempts to create "Grandiloquent" youth, loving the words they are mastering.
P.S.
I don't like the dictionary's definition of that word.
