Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
5th graders will be engaged in a hands-on lab focusing on food webs and food chains. This STEM-based activity will motivate students to deepen their learning and understanding of how things are all connected. Being able to explore what an owl eats will help students align state and national standards to their learning and prepare them for district and state testing, as well as middle and high school science classes. I have done these before and the engagement and participation from students was always at 100%.
