This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Just the other day I found a book by David Shannon, "A Bad Case of Stripes" in one of the assorted books bins and so I read it to my students, and let me tell you they enjoyed it so much. I shared with them that David Shannon also wrote "No, David" and other David books, and of course some of them knew it.

White will surely motivate students to read about one of their all time favorite characters, David. They will also develop a love for reading along with their reading skills.
