My Students
My classes are made up of fourth-grade students who attend a low-income public school in suburban Florida. Many of these students are from families with limited resources at home. We continue to reach our goals.
It is important to create a classroom environment that provides the materials and the experiences that will lead to the success of all my students.
By incorporating hands-on lessons, participating in community projects, and providing after-school club opportunities, our students can reach for the stars.
Our district provides free breakfast and lunch for every child. Although they do not quite understand the bigger picture of what this really means in the long run, I will never let them figure it out in my classroom.
My Project
I have a few students this year who know zero English and it has been very hard to communicate basic words to these students. This translator device will allow me to communicate effectively, which will help them learn. This device will translate what I say in real time so they can understand what I am saying and what the assignments are for the day. This was also help them communicate with friends in the classroom, which will help them build more confidence in class. Please help me make this amazing device apart of my classroom resources.
