We need a new CD player/stereo system for our music classroom.

I am lucky to teach the most fabulous children in Georgia! I am the music teacher to 500+ students in grades K-5th in a low income school. They are sweet students who are so interested and excited about music and deserve to have more up-to-date technology in class!

I like to start class with soothing music playing as the children walk in to the classroom. My current stereo system is over 10 years old and is hanging on by a thread. Some days it works, and others, it doesn't! The children get so frustrated and so do I!

I am asking for a new stereo system that will allow me to play CDs consistently. I will be able to play songs for them to sing along to, provide listening lessons of famous pieces, and give us background music to dance to. Children love hearing music and are so disappointed when technology fails them.

Please consider donating to this project. My children are hopeful that we will be able to receive a brand-new stereo system that we can use for the next 10 years! Thank you so much for thinking of us.
