My Students

My kindergarten students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.

I teach at a Title I school in North Carolina but despite our students variety of backgrounds, they all want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.

I try to be creative and positive every day in order to inspire my students to always perform their best no matter what challenges they face. Their academic career is only beginning!

My Project

By using the Let's Find Out curriculum we will be able to reinforce literacy skills which will include sight word recognition, print concepts, and non-fiction text. In addition to the text features, each issue includes an additional internet activity, game, and writing component. The children really enjoy having the activities to go along with what we have just learned.

The Let's Find Out magazine is a wonderful tool that reinforces literacy skills that can be used in the classroom and at home.

Since each child gets their own issue, it a great way for them practice what they have learned in class with their family.
