This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My TK class this year is small, but mighty and beyond wonderful! I started the year with the happiest group of 4 year olds you have ever met and after just about a month there are now a few five years and they are still as joyful and excited about school as they were on day one. These kids are spending a full day at school getting exposure to the Kindergarten Standards that they will be mastering over the next two years, but most of our day is focused on social and emotional growth and learning through play.Kindergarten
My Project
I would really like the opportunity to expose my students to more music based learning. These rhythm sticks and their accompanying CDs will provide endless fun and learning for my students. They will learn about rhythm, patterns, beats, colors, and so much more. They will even get to eventually preform for their parents later in the year.
These materials are long lasting and will provide a lot of learning and fun for years to come!
The printer ink will support us in being able to make music sheets and rhythm folders. Students will be able to use my previously Donorschoose funded ipads to write and create their own pattern rhythms then print and perform them.
