This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am extremely enthusiastic about giving students options to make learning engaging. I hope I can meet the needs of all students since we believe in inclusion for every child. There are some things that I believe would help students' learning, as well as make teaching more organized and fun.
It would be wonderful to provide a learning environment filled with learning in motion to help meet the students' needs.
It is my goal to support diverse learning opportunities among students due to my belief that inclusion benefits all students' development.
My Project
With the Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards, I will be able to purchase keynotes, engaging learning activities that relate to standards being taught such as sight word practice, math activites, social studies and science exploration and fun leveled reading passages. With the Just Mercy book we can have discussions about equality and things we can do to change the world we live in today.
Your donations to our project will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus during our distance learning, you will ultimately help to increase their academic success.
The possibilities are endless. The students need educational activities that are both fun and engaging but academic as well. I am hoping we can keep the gap low as students go into the next school year and have them as well prepared as we can through our distance learning. With the Just Mercy book I would love to have discussions about how we are all different but the same and what we can do to ensure that people are treated equally. Each student will discuss what they can do to be the change and make a difference.
