My Students

I teach Computers, Keyboarding, and Physical Education to students in grades K-6, in addition to serving as the district's librarian for grades K-12.

Altogether, I teach classes to 183 students throughout the week, moving from classroom to classroom as well as using our schools computer lab and conference room.

My Project

In my classes, students complete many projects, such as research projects and photo editing/video making. By incorporating the use of iPads into our projects, we will be able to do small group activities. Students would be able to do research and find the answers to their questions instantly. Having the students learn from the technology right then and there, rather than waiting until we get back to another room, makes a lasting learning experience. Also, the touch screen allows students to interact with information and 3-D images in a way that is not possible with a traditional computer.

Technology is one of the most motivating and rewarding ways to differentiate learning.

We are sponges and eager to soak up all we can. We are the future and the difference. Please help us reach our potential.
