Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love to learn, and they are becoming innovated learners which supports them to achieve their goals. My fourth grade students are hard-working and excited learners who happen to come from homes in poverty. 96% of the students at our school qualify for free or reduced price lunch. Many of my students are struggling readers and writers and/or English Language Learners. Many of our students come to fourth grade with many academic gaps. Even though they face many struggles my students always do their best and never give up.

My Project

My 4th grade students love to learn. Most of my them have rough backgrounds, and have to overcome many challenges. Lack of resources and basic needs is one of them. With this project my students will have access to different books that interest them and different materials like notebooks, headphones, binders, markers, and sticky notes, that are so important in the school.

My students love reading and learning, having interesting books for them makes me so happy as a teacher!

They get so excited when new books and materials come in. Donor's Choose has allow me to met some of their needs.
