I am the teacher of the Learning Disabled Self-Contained class at OP Earle Elementary School. My children all struggle with reading and confidence in their reading skills. We are working daily to boost the confidence of these children and to also boost their skills. However, we desperately need more reading options for these students in the classroom and for them to be able to take home to read. After surveying the class, I found that only a very few of my students have book choices available to them in their homes. Students are unable to go to the local library due to parents' work schedules and therefore rely completely on our classroom library to meet their reading needs. Please help us expand our library to meet the needs of our classroom.
