My Project
We are the most diverse elementary school in the state, and one of the most diverse in our city. We have students from different cultures all over the world. We have students from affluent backgrounds and students who are currently unhoused.
Fifth grade students are growing and changing all the time, and they need snacks to keep them full of energy and ready to work.
My students eat a good lunch here at school and about a half hour later they are starving again. I'd like to have our snack cabinet full so I can give them a treat in the afternoons; specifically Cheez-its, granola bars, and trail mix.
