My Students

There are few things as wonderful as falling into a great book.

My fourth graders love to read!

This fact is something that thrills me to no end because I know that reading is one of the most important foundational skills for every other academic area. I want to do everything I can to feed their reading habit and help them to continuously find new favorites.

My Project

This collection of books is pretty much a fourth grader's dream come true. I can already picture my boys and girls exclaiming over the Time Warp Trio, the Fudge books, the Sassy series, and the collection of historical fiction by Christopher Paul Curtis. The proposal also includes a collection of picture books that have a direct connection to fourth and fifth grade math skills!

Please help encourage the reading habit of my fabulous fourth graders!

They are some of the best kids that a teacher could ever hope to work with, and I want to do everything I can to keep them engaged. Thank you in advance for your generosity!
