My Students

I teach physical education at an K-5 elementary school in central Indiana. We have 440 students with approximately 70% of our students receiving free or reduced lunch.

We are a school known for having a friendly and caring staff and we provide numerous enrichment opportunities for our students including Volleyball and Drama Clubs, academic teams and tutoring.

The staff provide many of the activities on a volunteer basis because we feel it is important to allow the students to explore and develop new interests.

Our students come to school everyday eager to learn and love trying new things and we love finding new things for them!

My Project

Omnikin balls are large, lightweight balls that can be integrated into almost any PE activity! Tag, crab soccer, volleyball and kickball are all games that you can substitute an omnikin ball and totally change the game!

Omnikin balls are lighter so they are easier to push, kick and roll!

They are large ( 60 inches) so they are (almost) impossible to miss. They are especially good for the younger students when they are learning to track and strike balls.

Purchasing an Omnikin ball and inflator would be used with all our students during the school year in a variety of activities plus we would be albe to play games specially designed for Omnikin balls. It will be a great addition to our school.
