This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Life isn't fair. We, as adults, have learned this and now, as our children and students go into their Middle and High School years, it's something that they will see more often. Being a teacher, we know that for some students, going to school is the best part of their day. I want to give my students a classroom library that will allow them to get lost in fantasy, whether it's a book we're reading as a whole class or a book they check-out to read at home. I want my students to have the option to check books out that they can get lost in. Please help me in creating a place of adventure for my students so that it's at least one part of their lives that allows for positivity through reading.
