Help me give my students experience using sublimation printing and heat transfer technology to create marketable products for our classroom business experience.
The sublimation printer and heat press system is going to provide students in my design classes with the opportunity to develop and produce a wide variety of items ranging from garments to decor. Students currently have the ability do complete the design component, but the printer and heat press will allow the students to produce and see the the finished product.
Ideally, we would like to be able to produce and sell our items at local businesses with the money earned going right back into the class/program to purchase supplies, design equipment, and provide opportunities for trips to industry/business connections in our community.
My students have embraced the opportunity to take the design courses offered at our school. The classes are new offerings this current school year. The students have excelled at the numerous projects we have done and I am certain, with their drive and creativity, the opportunity to utilize this new technology in our classroom will be well received and appreciated.
