Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Pre-K students come from all different walks of life. They represent diverse backgrounds, experiences, risk factors, and reflect a wide range of special needs. They are young learners, that love reading, investigating, exploring, creating and most of all learning!
They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners.
They hold inspiration for themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding artists, engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, mathematicians, teachers... They are our future and I want to give them a great start to a long successful journey that awaits them.
My Project
My students need games that will encourage them to play independently while boosting their math skills. My students will have a blast playing with a math partner and these fun folder games made especially for young children!
Each ready-to-use math game comes with everything my students need to learn fundamental math skills.
This math folder set includes 40 games that will encourage my students to learn shapes, measurement, numbers, counting, patterning and sorting. My students will learn how to choose a color-coded folder and corresponding pouch of game tiles...follow the simple, 3-step instructions to complete the activity…then check their own answers for instant reinforcement! This set is sure to keep my students engaged, while working as team and wanting to visit our math center on a daily basis.
