We're Bonkers for Beakers! (We Really Need Them!)

Help me give my students 250 mL and 500 mL beakers so they can complete all their chemistry and physics investigations!

My Project

These materials are used in multiple labs for our science program, but do not come with the equipment provided by the company.

This is a neighborhood school that is also IB certified which serves a low-income neighborhood and a rapidly expanding refugee population.

For all of our students who do not yet speak English fluently, or understand it in any form, these labs are their primary access to the concepts, and cutting corners gives less clear and accurate results. The program we use is rich with lab opportunities, but I need these materials to make the most of the program, especially for those projects that ask them to design their own investigations.

Our 8th graders are motivated and thinking of college already. Most of them will be the first in their families to attend college. Let's send them there able to make claims, support their claims with evidence, and explain their reasoning cohesively and coherently.
