Help me give my students a few snacks to get through the school day and early evening on their way home!
FULLY FUNDED! Dr. Woods's classroom raised $355

My Students
It's been a very interesting year for my group of students! With half of them at school in person, and the other half reporting virtually, they have been able to adapt to their current normal without any interruptions. With two months of being back to school in person, it's hard to believe that it's almost the end of the school year.
I am excited to welcome my students, and their appetites, back to school!
We were unable to have the entire school year in person together, but we fully plan on making the best of our last two months! Located in Washington, DC in an area full of external resources, we are already looking forward to our upcoming nature and community walks.
Being at home for nearly an entire school year made me forget about the appetites of my students. Sometimes, they may arrive at school late and may miss an opportunity to have breakfast. Other times they may require a snack to get them through the school day or when they leave school and before dinner.
My Project
We're starting with the first meal of the day and that's breakfast. My students are a fan of dry cereal and the Kellogg's assorted cereal box will give them what they need. Whether they are supplementing the school's breakfast or are in need of breakfast upon late arrival, their needs will be met! Aside from the bottled water that we have from school, I'd like to also provide them with an Honest Juice box to attempt to balance out their first meal of the day. For my students who love breakfast bars, we have them covered with assorted flavored Nutri-Grain bars.
I like to incorporate healthy snacks for my students and have found that they enjoy them quite a bit!
This project will also provide them with fruit snacks, goldfish crackers, and Sunchips during the early afternoon. For tests or extended assignments, I like to provide my students with Life Savers mints. In its own way, it keeps my students focused on the tasks at hand. I am also a fan of them as well. I also added a few of their favorite snacks to have at home and to share with their siblings. We are making the best of our new learning models and hope that you can satisfy our hunger for learning and snacking!
