We're All In For Learning!

Help me give my students a class set of ALL In Learning Response clickers, a storage wall hanger, and an ECR4Kids 30-bay locking laptop and tablet charging station cart with keypad entry.

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Overstreet's classroom raised $642

This project is fully funded

My Students

My students are inquisitive, creative, and enjoy being challenged. They love collaboratively working on projects and tasks, but especially love using technology! Using the appropriate tools in order to meet their academic needs motivates them to learn more and allows them to become who they want to be, which is paramount to all of our success.

As Queen Raina of Jordan states, "In education, technology can be a life changer, a game changer, for kids who are both in school and out of school.

Technology can bring textbooks to life. The Internet can connect students to their peers in other parts of the world. It can bridge the quality gaps."

My students live in a low-income area, within a city district that is in transition. With that being said, funding is limited and used towards human capital and basic supplies. While these items are extremely important, my students are in need of additional, technology-based, supplies that are not readily available.

My Project

ALL In Response clickers provide opportunities for me to ask the students questions (comprehension, check-ins, reflection, observations, etc.) throughout a lesson. The students would then use their clicker to respond immediately to the posed query (because the clickers are a friendly form of technology, not paper and pencil, the students find them "fun" and are more likely to be engaged throughout the lesson). This process would help me to track students' progress on a daily basis, which allows me, as the teacher, to adjust lessons to meet the needs of all of my students. With the growing emphasis on assessment for learning and student engagement, ALL In Learning empowers teachers to use a variety of research-proven strategies in simple ways. It is my hope that I will see every student providing feedback that I can use to make the critical in-the-moment decisions to re-teach or move on. In order to keep these tools in an appropriate and proper place, thus more likely to be in working order, I am requesting the numbered hanging organizer as well.

"An investment in knowledge pays the best interest." - Benjamin Franklin

Finally, I have requested a 30-bay locking laptop and tablet charging station cart with keypad entry to securely and systematically arrange our previously awarded pieces of equipment. Being able to store them in a formal location, with suitable electrical outlets for charging, will enable us to sustain their use for a longer period of time.

There is nothing better than being organized, efficient, and effective!
