This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

As a teacher in a low-income school district, my students are faced with many challenges in and out of school. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to make their experience at school fun, educational, creative, and meaningful daily.

My students are awesome!

They love coming to school and are ready to explore and adventure outside the classroom walls!!

My students love to read and be creative. They love learning about new things. They love to explore outside and be very adventurous. With the technology requested, my students will be able to explore and adventure outside of the classroom walls. They are ready to complete research papers and learn more about American history.

My Project

Our district lacks technology in the classroom for my students to be successful. We are implementing AR for the first time this year. The materials requested will help us run a smooth AR/Research center in our classroom to help us explore and adventure out.

My students "OWL" want to explore and adventure out of our classroom!!

My wonderful students need iPads to research and explore outside the classroom. My students could use the iPads to go into a quiet place and complete independent tasks. They can read books and complete quizzes on the iPads. My second graders are required to complete two research papers. The chromebooks would help them research and explore assigned topics. The technology requested will help my students get out the textbooks and explore the virtual world.
