This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help us build a student-driven library designed to support mental health and emotional well-being through the power of reading. Our collection will feature teen novels, SEL-focused reads, and interactive activity books that students can explore in our WellNest Center. This safe, calming space will encourage self-reflection, personal growth, and a deeper understanding of mental wellness. By promoting access to books that speak to real-life challenges and emotions, we aim to foster empathy, resilience, and a love for reading as a tool for healing and connection. Lets make reading part of our SEL journey
