My Project

My students need a place where they can take a break! When they become too worked up, they cannot focus on learning. Without a Wellness room, their behavior can also disrupt other students.

By having a welcoming environment in the Wellness Room, they will have tools to help them calm down so they can return to the classroom and be ready to learn.

I need to make a space that is calming and where they can refocus their energy. They need tools like building blocks, puzzles, and tangible manipulatives. These and the other resources I have requested, will go far in helping them calm their emotions so they can focus on academic work.
