Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students at Bucks Hill have been working on creating connections within our own community. Through the items requested in this project my students will work together to create wellness kits that will be donated to the local hospital to be distributed to patients.

These resources will support the broader community by providing patients with supplies that will foster mental wellness during their stay.

My students will take ownership of organizing the distribution of these products and will lead peer discussions on the importance of wellness especially when not at home. Through this community service project we hope to make a positive impact within our community.
