Wellness for All: Supporting Keiki & Teachers Through Testing

Help me give my students wellness kits that will support their emotional well-being and boost their confidence during state testing.

My Project

This project is designed to help support our upper-grade students, many of whom are navigating the stress and pressure of testing season. My kindergartners will be creating Wellness Packages filled with healthy snacks, motivational stickers, sensory tools, and thoughtful items like calming fidget toys and pencils. These care packages are meant to brighten someone’s day and let our older students know they’re seen, supported, and celebrated.

In addition, we’ll be making Calmness Bottles—a soothing sensory tool that teaches young learners how to regulate emotions and manage stress.

Not only will my students get to use them in our classroom, but they’ll also be gifting bottles to upper-grade students as part of our wellness outreach.

This initiative supports more than just academic growth—it’s about nurturing empathy, responsibility, and a sense of kuleana (responsibility) for our larger school community. By helping our littlest learners take part in school-wide care, your support empowers them to make a meaningful impact.
