This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials and supplies I am requesting are to provide healthy snacks for our students at our school's Wellness Center. The purpose of our Wellness Center is to provide a safe space for all of our students to have access to throughout the day should they need support with their mental health, need to practice their coping strategies learned in the wellness center. with the use of a variety of sensory items and relaxation tools to help them self-regulate. In addition students also gather and meet peers during lunch, and are provided with a healthy snack as part of the Wellness center's goal of promoting a healthy overall wellbeing.
